On January 28th, the 2024 Student Awards Ceremony was held.
Our university honors students who have been active in international, local, environmental, cultural, volunteer, athletic, and educational activities, and holds a "Student Awards" based on the policy of students learning about their efforts and achievements. Recipients are selected from undergraduate and graduate students across the university.
This year, 113 awards were given to students in the individual category, including those with excellent grades, students who passed various qualifications such as the first-level Nissho Bookkeeping Examination, and students who achieved excellent results in various contests, while 12 awards were given to students in the group category, including students who contributed to environmental activities, students who achieved excellent results in club activities, and students who held events to teach local children about the SDGs. A total of 125 awards were given. On the day, President Yukihiko Harashina presented the certificates of commendation.
In addition, the students who receive the award are presented with a "Gold Student ID Card" as proof that they are outstanding students. Many students aim to obtain this special Gold Student ID card, and it serves as one of the motivations that motivates them to work hard at their activities.
