Faculty of Service Innovation (Dean: Yasuyuki Ishii) will be hosting the Service Creation Awards 2025, open to high school students nationwide. The Service Creation Awards, launched in 2008 with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of service creation throughout society, are now in their 17th year. A total of 23,291 ideas were received from across the country. This year, as with last year, we are accepting stories of "problems" encountered in everyday life. Participants are also invited to select a company from among the "official supporter companies" that support learning at Faculty of Service Innovation to solve their "problem," and to submit a request on how they would like that company to solve the problem. The selected official supporter company will be contacted, and we may receive comments.
The episodes are required to be judged on the following points: "Is the problem shared by many people?", "Has the problem already been solved by another company?", "Is the idea or perspective unique?", "Is the episode described in detail?", and "Is the writing accurate and easy to understand?". The submitted episodes will be comprehensively evaluated by a committee of judges appointed by the faculty, and several episodes that have the potential to become "seeds for service creation" will be awarded. This is your chance to turn your problem into the creation of a new service. Please apply now!
