1. Training Period

September 2nd (Sat) to September 11th (Mon) 2017 (10 days)

2. Training Content

Lectures and cultural experience tours in English and Russian (with English interpretation)

3. Training location

Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia)

4. Number of applicants

3 people (minimum number of participants: 1 person)

5. Eligibility

  1. Applicants must be enrolled in the undergraduate program in 2017, be healthy, proactive, and cooperative.
  2. Those who are interested in Russian culture and history
  3. Those who have the English proficiency to understand the content of lectures in English and participate in discussions

6. Costs

  1. Airfare: Approximately 150,000 yen (subject to change)
  2. Travel procedure fees: Passport acquisition fees, visa acquisition fees
  3. Overseas travel insurance: You must enroll in overseas travel insurance designated by the university.
  4. Meals: Meals not included in campus dining halls
  5. Cultural experience tour fee: Admission fees to museums etc. visited in the program
  6. Transportation expenses: Local transportation expenses and round-trip transportation expenses from your home to Narita Airport
  7. Personal expenses: pocket money, phone bills, etc.

7. Notes

  1. This program is an exchange program between CUC Summer Program participating schools, so training fees, accommodation fees, and meal fees (with some exceptions) will be waived.
  2. In the event of a large number of applicants, priority will be given to those who have recently participated in a summer program as participants or supporters.
  3. Driving a car or motorcycle is not permitted during the training period.
  4. Participants will be required to submit a health certificate.
  5. This training will be led by faculty and staff of our university. Please follow the instructions of the leaders and Moscow State University staff on-site. In addition, this training is a joint training with universities not only in Japan but also around the world, so please act with the awareness of being a Chiba University of Commerce student.

8. Participant Information Session

Explanations will be provided at International Center of the Main Building from time to time.

9. Documents to be submitted at the time of application

  1. Application form (prescribed form)
  2. Academic transcript
  3. Health certificate

10. Application Method and Deadline

Please fill out and submit the application form available at International Center Office (1st floor of the main building). Applicants will be interviewed to determine who will participate.
