EDOROCK (EDOROCK MUSIC & ART FESTIVAL)

Acquire teamwork and communication skills through management

By participating as a volunteer and running the EDOROCK MUSIC & ART FESTIVAL, which is held mainly on the Edogawa riverbed in Ichikawa City, we aim to revitalize the local area and to make music and art a part of everyday life in the area. By working with local people, we encourage the development of communication skills, teamwork skills, and more.

In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was held in a hybrid format, both online and at each venue. Ten people participated in the event, helping with public relations via social media, preparations in advance, running the event at each venue on the day, and even dismantling the event. In 2021, we hope to continue our activities by setting up a Commerce University booth if possible.

I feel that by participating in Edrock, I have improved my communication skills. By participating from the preparatory stage, I was able to work with people of various generations and communicate smoothly with the executive committee and superiors. In addition, I feel that my leadership skills have improved as I supported juniors who were in trouble through PR activities on SNS.
