Aiming to revitalize Ichikawa City through music

The first Ichikawa Music Park was held in 2018 with the aim of "creating a place where people of all ages and genders can communicate through music, fusing various elements such as local industry, tourism, traditions, and networks, revitalizing the region, and making Ichikawa a 'town full of music, full of dreams, and a bright future.'" In 2019, he became an executive committee member and participated with his seminar students. In 2020, his seminar students, one second-year student, and two first-year students are participating.
By participating in this project, participants will contribute to the revitalization of Ichikawa City and aim to establish a cultural life in the community through music. They are expected to acquire communication skills through interactions with the executive committee, teamwork skills for continuously updating SNS, and presentation skills through roles such as MC on the day.

Ichikawa Music Park

This is my second year participating in Ichikawa Music Park, and I was able to be thoroughly involved from the preparations onwards, which was a lot of fun. I am researching how music festivals can revitalize local communities, and previous research has written that relaxedness and non-seriousness are important for livening up a festival. In other words, it is important to create an atmosphere that makes people feel like they can help with this fun event, and it is good for the management to create this. At this year's venue, the atmosphere was lively, and everyone was united and unified, thanks to the organizing committee's efforts to create a good atmosphere. It was a great opportunity to learn about local revitalization in practice in this kind of atmosphere.
