Based on systems thinking, we are conducting research on a variety of topics, including the extension of accounting postulates using algebraic physical bookkeeping, production accounting, real-time audits, ESG, on-balancing of non-financial information, DX and IoT of factories, EBPM, social systems theory, social diversity, secularization research, the content industry, and agent-based modeling.

Doctoral thesis guidance content

The topics that can be covered in doctoral dissertations are wide-ranging, from decision-making, management systems, and accounting systems to social and cultural systems. We encourage students to pursue research from both an abstract systems perspective and concrete case studies.

Teacher in charge

I conduct research in the interdisciplinary fields spanning business, economics, social sciences, and the humanities, with the belief that systems-based methodology can be used to connect thorough concrete issues with abstract thinking. My current research themes are the establishment of production accounting using mathematical expressions (exchange algebra) for physical bookkeeping, and the on-balance recording of non-financial information.
