- How can I take Mizuho-kai classes?

Mizuho-kai holds information sessions every April, June, and December. Information sessions are posted on campus displays and on the CUC PORTAL. In addition, you can check the details with faculty members in Accounting Education Center faculty lab on the 3rd floor of Building 1. Consultations are handled by faculty members of Accounting Education Center on the 3rd floor of Building 1.
- What time are Mizuho-kai lectures held?
- Basically, lectures are held during the 4th and 5th periods on Mondays to Fridays, when there are fewer university lectures, and during the 1st to 4th periods on Saturdays. The days on which lectures are held vary depending on the course. Also, the number of lecture days may increase as the exam date approaches.
- Can I work part-time?
- Students in the Level 3 and Level 2 courses may work part-time as long as it does not overlap with their lectures or interfere with their assignments. Students in the Level 1 course are generally prohibited from working part-time. However, if you must work part-time for financial reasons, please consult with the instructor in charge of the course.
- How many times a year does Mizuho-kai hold courses? When do applications open?
- Mizuho-kai courses are offered three times a year for the 3rd, 2nd and 1st level courses. Applications are accepted in April, June and December.
- What kind of companies do Mizuhokai graduates work for?
- In addition to finding employment in banks, securities companies, and general companies, graduates go on to work in a wide range of fields, such as certified public accountants, tax accountants, public servants at the Board of Audit and the National Tax Agency, and high school teachers.
- Which grade level has the most students passing the bookkeeping exam?
- Most students are in their first or second year. In order to give themselves an advantage in job hunting in their third or fourth year, we recommend that you start studying for qualifications immediately after enrollment.
- Can I rejoin Mizuho-kai after quitting it?
- You may rejoin. If you need to consult in advance, please contact the instructor of the course.
- Do I need to study anything before I enroll in a university in order to take a course?
- There is no need to study specifically for the course before entering university. You can simply take the course after entering university.
- Can I try to become a tax accountant or certified public accountant immediately after joining?
- Mizuho-kai recommends that students who have passed the Nissho Bookkeeping Examination (Level 1) try to become a tax accountant or certified public accountant. If you need to consult with the instructor beforehand, please contact the instructor.
- How much does it cost to attend?
- There is no tuition fee. However, you will need to pay for the course materials.
- I am from General Course. Can I join Mizuho-kai? Can I pass the entrance exam at Mizuho-kai?
- Yes, you can. For example, more than half of the students in the Level 3 course are studying bookkeeping for the first time. Even students who study bookkeeping for the first time after enrolling in the school pass the Level 1 Nissho Examination and the Tax Accountant Examination by the time of graduation. Many graduates go on to graduate school and work as tax accountants.
