Regarding the COVID-19 virus, a government ordinance was enacted on February 1, 2020, designating the disease as a designated infectious disease. In light of this, we would like to inform all those taking the graduate school entrance examination in March 2020 as follows.
Please note that if you have been infected with an infectious disease (such as influenza) for which attendance is suspended under the School Health and Safety Act and have not yet recovered, you will not be able to take the exam due to the risk of infecting other test takers and supervisors. In addition, if you are infected with the new coronavirus, you will also not be able to take the exam. In addition, there will be no special measures such as retake exams.
We ask that all test takers gather accurate information and take regular infection prevention measures, such as cough etiquette, washing your hands, and wearing a mask. Although you are permitted to wear a mask during the test, you will be asked to remove it at the time of identity verification (photo matching) as instructed by the test supervisor. Please also be aware that test supervisors and other staff may be asked to wear masks.
*If the situation changes in the future, we may reassess our response. In that case, we will provide you with the latest information.
