Starting in 2022, Graduate School of Accounting & Finance, MBA Program will introduce a course format for the "Tax Professional Course" that allows students to obtain a degree through distance learning only (※1) and to be exempt from some subjects in the tax accountant examination. This will enable students who wish to be exempt from subjects in the tax accountant examination but live in rural areas where there are no graduate schools within commuting distance of their residence to study.
*1 Schooling (face-to-face classes) are held at the Ichikawa Campus on weekends during the summer vacation.
In 2020, we conducted both remote and face-to-face classes to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but in the course evaluation surveys of students, we received feedback that "the remote classes were of high quality." Based on these results, we hope to continue nurturing many highly specialized professionals by making the program available to those who live in rural areas where commuting to school is difficult.
