Researching "Creating new ideas for new services and making them a reality"
Research Themes
To become a service innovator, you need to understand "service creation." You start by "learning from academia" about "what is a service" and "what does it mean to create a service," and then move on to creation. Service creation in the AI era is required to go beyond traditional service creation.
Activities
We will research the service creation that is being created one after another all over the world. Furthermore, we will explore the essence of service creation by using books, papers, and related information on service creation as clues. Taking advantage of the opportunity to be inspired by the official supporter companies, Specially Appointed Professor, and graduates of the faculty, we will also work to disseminate information about service creation.
Student Voices
Department of Service Innovation Nanami Shikakura
If students are serious, Professor Yoshida will respond in earnest. Based on what "service creation" is, students can share real information and receive academic guidance. I think this seminar allows students to get many clues for "thinking of new services and realizing them," and also allows them to find what they want to pursue for the rest of their lives. What I have pursued in the Yoshida seminar is "sharpness" in service creation.

The best thing about the seminar is that you can learn about management from a broader perspective than ever before, without being confined to existing academic fields. Since we often analyze literature, news programs, and documentaries, you will be able to convey persuasive opinions. You can learn practical knowledge that is applicable in society even while you are still a student. It is recommended for students who want to "study in a way that is unique to Faculty of Service Innovation!"
