Let's consider the issues facing Japanese society from the perspective of the bridal industry and think of new businesses that could provide solutions.
Research Themes
This seminar focuses on the theme of "Diversifying Society and the Bridal Business," and explores the changing landscape of society, media, marriage, and family. In today's world, where values and family structures are diversifying and an increasing number of people no longer consider marriage an essential life event, the bridal business is being explored to address needs and challenges that differ from those of the past. By examining today's young people's views on marriage, family, and lifestyle from a variety of perspectives, this seminar will uncover new meanings and lead to deeper insights. As Japanese society enters a new phase regarding marriage, what innovations and systems will be needed for the bridal business? By examining historical examples, learning about contemporary initiatives, and participating in peer discussions and presentations, students will deepen their understanding of today's diverse society and hone their problem-finding and problem-solving skills to create a better society.
