Student Voices

Department of Service Innovation Keita Ishii
In Ishii's seminar, we study Drucker and Bernard in order to apply business management to our daily lives. I am also the head of Ishii's seminar and the representative of the Community Cafe Project, and I am making use of what I have learned and feeling fulfilled. In fact, it is not easy to lead an organization. However, in the seminar, we learn how to run an organization and what a leader should be, so I was able to lead an organization and broaden the scope of my activities. I think that when you hear business management, you may think it is difficult. However, in this seminar, we read Drucker's "Management" by ourselves and report on it. Professor Ishii will then explain the report, so you can enjoy learning Drucker's thinking. The students in the seminar get along well with each other, and while living a fulfilling student life, we are further deepening our learning in business management. That is the appeal of Ishii's seminar.

Department of Service Innovation Yuki Iwasaki
In Ishii's seminar, we are learning about Drucker's management. Management means the overall strength of corporate management, and can be said to be a way of thinking that brings results to a company. I was particularly interested in Drucker's theory of leadership. A leader is someone who motivates the members of an organization and makes the organization produce results, and in Ishii's seminar, we will also learn about this leader. Therefore, in Ishii's seminar, we also learn about bookkeeping and accounting, which is the key to the overall strength necessary for management. In addition to learning, Ishii's seminar is a student-centered seminar that also holds seminar trips and sports events. In addition, Ishii's seminar also provides career support, expanding the possibilities for seminar students' career paths. In other words, Ishii's seminar is a seminar where students can learn independently and experience the joy of learning.
