Create the best party possible based on your needs and trends
Theme Introduction
At the Party Project, we plan and run parties mainly for students and faculty. The purpose of our activities is to provide a place for interaction and to create an extraordinary space. We also provide entertainment such as shows, dance, and games, and create a memorable experience for participants in a glamorous and fun space that is unimaginable at a regular university.
Activities
We usually hold parties twice a year, in July and December, on campus. In July, we hold the Hawaiian Party, which has a casual atmosphere. In December, we hold the Yellow Party, which has a more formal atmosphere. For each party, we consider the food, drinks, entertainment, and space decorations based on the needs and trends of our students. Every day, we pursue the question, "How can we provide the best service?"
Student Voices
Department of Service Innovation Mikoto Hinai
The extraordinary space of a party is planned and run from scratch by students themselves. By participating in this project, students naturally acquire the ability to come up with ideas for creating the space and content, the ability to think about marketing strategies to attract customers, and the communication skills required for smooth organizational management. With each student working with high motivation, we are able to create a high-quality party.
Yuki Nakamura Department of Service Innovation
Of the three learning themes of Faculty of Service Innovation, this project falls under "learning from activities," and we believe that its strength is that it allows us to work without being bound by convention, as the members and themes change every year. By working independently and creating a party that continues to evolve every year, we are able to provide guests with more excitement than they could have ever imagined, and a new opportunity for interaction.
Teachers' comments
What I want students to learn
By utilizing knowledge and ideas learned from academic fields such as marketing and business management, you will be able to create a memorable experience for your guests. Think carefully and put into practice in order to create the best party possible within the limited time.
Expectations of students
We are only "behind the scenes". We create parties for the guests to enjoy, not for us to enjoy. But if we ourselves don't find our activities fun, then I'm sure the guests won't enjoy them either. Let's think about our own happiness while keeping the smiles of our guests in mind.
