Tokuhito Oda Seminar (Corporate Accounting Research)

Play hard, study hard. Make sure you clearly distinguish between ON and OFF.

Research Themes

Introduction to the research theme In the Oda seminar, we conduct research on corporate accounting, a field of accounting. Currently, Japanese corporate accounting is moving away from the domestic accounting standards "Accounting Principles for Japanese Companies" and "ASBJ Standards" and is transitioning to the international financial reporting standards "IFRSs (International Financial Reporting Standards/International Financial Reporting Standards)". IFRSs has already been adopted in over 120 countries. In Japan, we are currently considering how to incorporate IFRSs into corporate accounting. In the future, companies will have an increasing need for students who have studied corporate accounting, especially IFRSs, during job hunting activities.
