Learn Corporate Law through Case Law
Research Themes
A company is an economic unit that carries out profit-making activities in a planned and continuous manner, and among them, companies play an important role in capitalist economies. The Companies Act, enacted in 2005, provides most of the basic regulations for companies, specifically regulating their establishment, constituent units (stocks and equity), operating institutions, capital procurement, etc. In this seminar, we are researching the outline of the various systems stipulated in the Companies Act and their problems.
Activities
In the second year "Research I," students read overview books on the subject in order to understand the systems stipulated in the Company Law. In the third year "Research II," seminar members give individual reports on legal precedents related to the Company Law. In the fourth year "Graduation Research," students write a graduation thesis based on the individual reports they made in Research II.
