Study hard, play hard - make good friends
Research Themes
The course is based on three pillars (basics of economics, financial theory, and presentations). The first pillar is studying the basics of economics (macroeconomics and microeconomics). Students solve many exercises to deepen their understanding. Students also teach each other.
The second pillar of the course is the financial theory seminar, where students learn about financial theory (money). Since money (funds) is essential for economic activity, students use the knowledge they gain in the seminar to analyze a topic they set for themselves in their graduation thesis.
The third pillar is our emphasis on presentation. We provide strict guidance from the early stages to improve presentation skills.
Activities
- Joint Seminar
We conduct seminar activities jointly with Professor Goto Kei's seminar. As students are in the same year, we value horizontal connections and are supervised by two professors. - Students who are active in various fields (a diverse group of students)
There are many students who are enthusiastic about various activities. There are a variety of students, including students who participate in project activities of Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, students who join the Mizuho-kai and study bookkeeping (several students have passed the first grade), students who attend vocational schools and aim to take qualification exams (it is strange that there are so many students who pass the real estate license exam), and students who want to become civil servants and are studying for that exam. - Extracurricular Activities
We try to go to different places and have fun together. (For some reason, we go to Ishikawa Prefecture a lot.)
