Starting in 2020, our graduate school will collaborate with the Japan Society for People-Centered Management to offer a one-year certificate program called the "Small and Medium-sized Enterprise People-Centered Business Administration (EMBA) Program." The program is aimed at corporate executives, senior management, lawyers, tax accountants, and other professionals.
This program is an unprecedented curriculum specializing in small and medium-sized business management, with three parts: "Relay Practical Business Management" by well-known active managers, "Relay Small and Medium-sized Business Management Theory" by researchers, lawyers, certified public accountants, management consultants, etc., and "Small and Medium-sized Business Management Case Studies & Seminars" taught by the program leader throughout the year, allowing students to learn business management broadly and deeply from both theoretical and practical aspects. In addition, the number of companies studied throughout the year, including lectures, summer camps, companies where volunteers conduct on-site research, and on-site company research accompanied by Professor, is more than 500.
Those who achieve excellent results will be awarded an "EMBA Program Completion Certificate" and a certificate of completion will be issued by the university. The certificate can be included on your resume or job card.
A press conference was held on Wednesday, October 9th, where President Yukihiko Harashina and Chairman Koji Sakamoto of the Society for People-Care Management explained the background to the opening of the course and an overview of the program. President said, "Chiba University of Commerce and the Society for People-Care Management share the same aspiration of cultivating managers with high ethical standards, rather than simply pursuing profits. We would like to continue to deepen our collaboration in the future."
