Yoshito Wada Seminar (Considering the future image (design) of a community-based society with an eye on 2050)

Let's revitalize the local area! (New tourism (accessible tourism), local revitalization, support for local life)

Research Themes

  1. (1) New Tourism
We are examining the issues of accessible tourism and transportation support.
  2. (2) Creating new communities
We also provide support for the operation of local cafes and community restaurants, and provide "family support" involving childcare (for preschool children), after-school care, and special needs schools.
  3. (3) Community-based society
We also provide support for the elderly, people with disabilities, and local community life.

Student Voices

Shosuke Awano
In addition to active learning and volunteering, we also value our involvement with the local community. We have had a wide variety of people living in Ichikawa City come and exchange opinions through lectures and other events. Seminar activities have a unique appeal that is different from lectures. Listening to the opinions of various people has given me the opportunity to think deeply about "what I can do" and "what I am lacking."
