notice

Starting in 2020, our graduate school will be collaborating and working with the Society for People-Centered Management to offer a one-year EMBA course (certificate program).
To commemorate the joint launch of this course, an opening symposium was held at the Marunouchi Satellite Campus on Saturday, November 2nd.

The event was attended by a large number of business executives, senior executives, entrepreneurs, consultants, and professionals (tax accountants, small and medium-sized business management consultants, etc.), with over 60 participants in total filling the venue to capacity.

The symposium began at 1:30 p.m. with opening remarks by Mr. Nobuyuki Kondo, Chairman of Japan Laser Co., Ltd. and Vice President of the Japan Society for Management that Values People.
In the first part, Yukihiko Hara President shina gave a greeting from the organizer and gave a lecture entitled "Cultivating Commercial Morality and the Program," in which he explained the fostering of "high ethical standards," which is the founding principle of the university, based on the Bushido spirit, and also talked about the SDGs initiatives at the university, including the "100% renewable energy university."
Next, Koji Sakamoto, President of the Japan Society for Management that Values People (who will be appointed as the head of this program), gave a lecture entitled "The Importance of Management Studies that Value People and the Features of the Program," in which a detailed explanation of the features and curriculum of this program was given.

After a break, the second part of the event featured a special commemorative lecture entitled "Business succession and successors in small and medium-sized enterprises" by Michiaki Nishiura, Managing Partner of Attacks Group and Vice President of the People-Care Management Association.
Afterwards, Special Commemorative Lecture II was held by Mr. Takamitsu Sugita of Aoba Sogo Law Office (a network of lawyers that supports management that values people), entitled "Work Rules that Make Employees Happy."
In their lectures, the two speakers gave clear and concise talks on two topics that are unavoidable when running a small or medium-sized enterprise: business succession and work rules, from the perspective of management that values people.

During the question and answer session, Chairman Sakamoto and Vice Chairman Kondo reiterated the purpose of this program, which is truly specialized for small and medium-sized business management, by teaching "What should be" rather than "How to do" as a way of managing a business that values people.

After the symposium, a social gathering was held where participants and organizers could mingle and engage in lively discussions.
