The "Accounting Profession Course" and "Tax Profession Course" offered by Graduate School of Accounting & Finance, MBA Program Chiba University of Commerce Graduate School have been redesignated by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as "Specialized Practical Education and Training Courses for Education and Training Grants (designated period: April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2027)."
If you are planning to enroll in Graduate School of Accounting & Finance, MBA Program or are a future applicant who wishes to receive the Professional Practical Education and Training Grant after enrollment, please read the "Pre-application Procedures" below carefully and proceed with the procedure without missing anything.

Pre-application procedures for "Specialized Practical Education and Training Benefits"

To receive the education and training benefit, you must apply in advance before taking the course (at least one month before the start date of the course).
The documents to be submitted may be obtained from the Hello Work office or issued by your employer, so please be sure to check the details and complete the procedures in time for the deadline. Please note that this course is currently undergoing redesignation, so the response may vary depending on the Hello Work office.

  1. Confirmation of eligibility and payment requirements
    Please check whether you are eligible to receive the scholarship as of the start date of your course.
    *If you are uncertain, please inquire at your local Hello Work office about the payment requirements.
  2. Pre-training career counseling
    Receive pre-training career counseling from a training-compatible career consultant by the time of your pre-application process.
  3. Prepare the documents required for application before taking the course (verify eligibility)
    • Education and Training Benefit and Education and Training Support Benefit Eligibility Verification Sheet (distributed at Hello Work, etc.)
    • Job card (issued within the last year from pre-training career counseling)
    • Identification and address verification documents (driver's license, Basic Resident Registration Card (with photo), My Number Card, etc.)
    • Document confirming your personal number (My Number) (either My Number card, notification card, or copy of your resident card showing your My Number)
    • Identification (existence) document (My Number card, driver's license, etc.)
    • 2 photos (recent photos, front upper body, 3.0 cm x 2.5 cm)
    • Bankbook or cash card of the financial institution to which you wish to make payment
  4. Submit pre-course application documents to Hello Work
    Pre-registration deadline: Thursday, February 29, 2024
    1. * Students planning to enroll in April 2024
    2. * The counter for educational training benefits is only open on weekdays (Monday to Friday). For details on opening hours and application procedures, please contact the Hello Work office that has jurisdiction over your address.
    3. * Even if you have not yet been accepted, the deadline for advance applications is as stated above. Please proceed with the application process in advance without waiting for the results of the entrance exam and selection process.
